Bulk domain availability checker: is it free to register?

Paste a list of domains, or a name without an extension to try it across .com, .net, .org, .io, .co, .ai, .dev and .app. Each one is checked against its registry, not against a reseller’s cache.

What the availability checker shows

The bulk domain availability checker asks the registry of each extension whether a record exists for the domain. No record means the domain is available to register. A record means it is taken, and the result adds the expiry date and the registrar.

A third answer matters to anyone hunting expired domains: dropping. A domain in redemption or pending delete is not available yet, but it is on its way out, and the drop date calculator tells you when.

How to read the result

  • Available: The registry has no record. You can register the domain now at the normal price at any registrar.
  • Registered: The domain is taken. The expiry date shows how long the current registration runs.
  • Dropping: The domain has been deleted by its registrar and is in redemption or pending delete. It cannot be registered yet; place a backorder if you want it.
  • Unknown: The registry of this extension does not offer RDAP, or it did not answer in time.

What to keep in mind

  • Premium and reserved names. Some registries hold back certain names or sell them at a premium price. They can show as available here and still cost more, or be blocked, at the registrar.
  • Available does not mean clean. A name that is free today may have been registered and dropped before. If it has a history, check it before you build on it.
  • Trademarks. Availability says nothing about whether the name conflicts with a trademark. This is not legal advice.

Bulk Domain Availability Checker: frequently asked questions

How do I check many domains at once?

Paste them one per line, or separated by commas or spaces. Guests can check 5 domains at a time, free members 20 and Hunter Pro members 50.

How accurate is the result?

It is the registry’s own answer at the moment you ask, so it is as accurate as availability data gets. The exceptions are premium and reserved names, which a registry can refuse or price differently at registration.

The domain is expired but shows as registered. Why?

An expired domain stays registered through the registrar’s grace period and the redemption period. It only becomes available after pending delete ends, roughly 35 to 80 days after expiry.

Can I check a name across several extensions?

Yes. Type the name without an extension (for example “mybrand”) and it is checked as .com, .net, .org, .io, .co, .ai, .dev and .app.

Do you register domains?

No. hunter.domains does not sell or register domains. The register link next to an available name goes to a registrar.

Want available domains that already have backlinks?

Hunter Pro lists dropped domains that nobody registered, rechecked against the registry every two hours.
