# Privacy Policy

hunter.domains is a service that scans expiring domains and notifies its members. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.

## Data we collect

- **Account details:** your name, email address and an irreversible hash of your password.
- **Preferences:** your alert rules, watchlist, notification settings, language and time zone.
- **Usage records:** a record of the notifications sent and of clicks through to auction pages.

## How we use it

We use your data only to provide the service: to notify you about domains that match your rules, to manage your account and to improve the service. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with third parties for advertising.

## Third parties

We use an email provider to send email and a payment provider for payments. Your card details never reach us; they are processed by the payment provider. Some links to auction pages are affiliate links; when you click one, the destination site may use its own cookies.

## Cookies

We use the cookies needed to keep you logged in. We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used; it sets its own cookies and the visit data is processed by Google. We don't use advertising cookies.

If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and account ID with us; we do not access anything else.

## Your rights

You can delete your account from the profile page at any time; when you do, your account details, rules and watchlist are permanently removed. You can turn off email notifications with one click from the link at the bottom of every email.
